“Memories, dreams, reflections. Figures, creatures and various motifs emerge based on the direction the image takes. I let the evolving narrative carry me along as I focus on the formal aspects of the painting. In trying to surprise myself, cycles of birth, death and transformation become common themes and rhythms in the work.”
About the Artist:
Peter Clarke is a Concept Artist/Illustrator/Painter who has worked at various film and game studios for the past 25 years on projects including Treasure Planet, the Ice Age films and the World of WarCraft expansions. Peter teaches life drawing and pursues his oil paintings.
