Photonic Playground proudly presents three artists for the months of October through December 2016: Overwatch character designer from Blizzard Entertainment, John Polidora, owner of Ironklad Studios/concept designer, Justin Goby Fields, and previously of Cloud Imperium's Star Citizen studio/3D concept artist, Gurmukh Bhasin.
Hi, I'm John! I'm the dorky guy that runs on coffee and big dreams. I've been an artist my whole life, but a pro for 13 years. I've done a lot of everything in my 3 years at Konami Computer Entertainment, and my 10 years at Blizzard Entertainment, but for the last almost 8 years, I've been an illustrator, concept artist, visual development artist and character designer working on all of Blizzard's games...most notably Overwatch! My own personal tastes are pretty different from Blizzard's games though. I like drawing sexy ladies and cute things for fun...add in a sprinkling of barbarians, pirates, ninjas, wizards, magic, and animals, and you'll get a idea of the things I see in the world I'm building within my own IP...Miscreants and Thieves!

Gurmukh Bhasin is an architectural designer turned 3D concept artist, who currently hails in Los Angeles. His addiction to adventure and all that is creative, was fostered at a young age -- boarding school in India, architecture school in Arizona, and skateboarding through the streets of Barcelona, by way of graduate school at the Southern California Institute of Architecture [sciARC]. Gurmukh's work draws significantly from his life experiences, and provides a constant source of inspiration as he continues to explore the seemingly untapped intersections between reality and imagination.
